About 10 miles south of Moab is Hole in the rock, a place that looks right out of the 50’s route 66 era.

Kenyon and Ryan took a hike to Delicate Arch last month.  It was a really fun Kenyon Daddy time.

Halloween 2010

So I know that this is late in coming, but here are pictures of our best Halloween yet!

We had the best food ever thanks to Ashley, Nannette, and Jana, and we watched the worst movie ever.  The name escapes me, but it stars John BonJovi as a super awesome vampire hunter…enough said.

So all that we needed was a simple snapshot of our family for our ward directory....It wasn't that simple.  We had to set the camera on an automatic timer, and the madness ensued.  The kids are starving, I just got out of the shower and have wet hair and no makeup, Ryan REALLY didn't want to do this, and Kenyon refused to smile at all unless we gave him candy.  I never want to do this again.

What's been going on!

So clearly it has been nearly a century since I've updated the blog.  So here is a rundown of everything that has been going on.
Kenyon is in 2nd grade and having a great time.  He rides his bike like a champ and is crazy awesome at the Wii. 
River is 3 and is a little sassy pants.  He is finally potty trained, so he no longer has to be locked in the closet after he wets the bed....Just kidding.  He is also awesome at the Wii and sometimes beats Ryan, which doesn't make Ryan happy.

Our latest edition to the Barker family is our baby Skye Lily.  Ok, it really has been a while, because our little baby is turning 1 this month.  She was born on 9/22/09.  She is the best baby in the entire world, she is such a joy and quite beautiful to boot.  Here are some pictures of our life this past year.

Kenyon’s Looses his first tooth!

He had been wiggling it for a while, and then asked me to yank it out.  It took some leverage, but then out it came!  The tooth fairy gave him $10 (because it was 11pm and she didn’t have change.)
